Two women leading separate lives in different counties met because God had called each of us to fight the injustice against the exploitation of individuals. Together we decided to form Anchor of Hope and start a conversation and create change in the Hudson Valley.
One story that was shared with us was that when a survivor who had finished a year long program for addiction issues went to go home, she had a difficult time connecting to a local church. All churches contacted by her advocate communicated that she should come to the welcome desk on a Sunday. It broke my heart to hear this, and I thought, we can do more! The church body can do more than have someone come to a welcome desk. So we began a journey that we hope can impact victims and survivors in a way we hope will be positive.
"Human trafficking is happening here? In the Hudson Valley?"
Yes it is! We partner with local agencies and learn the ongoing issues happening right here in our backyard. It is an injustice that occurs everywhere, not just overseas.
Contact us today to see how we can partner with each other to see all lives set free!
